School of Information Engineering
The School of Information Engineering was founded in March 2005. It has three majors in computer science and technology, software engineering and electronic information engineering; 16 specialized laboratories and one technology research and development center are established to meet the demands for research and education purposes.
The school build Industry 4.0 with the local enterprises, and open a platform to train both teachers and students as IoT engineers in the field of entrepreneurship. Teachers preside over and participate in over 70 projects at National Natural Science Foundation of China, provincial and municipal level. Students have made great achievements in scientific research and discipline competitions, and won the first prize in 2018 National Undergraduate Mathematical Competition.
The school is committed to cultivating application-oriented innovative talents with theoretical literacy and engineering capability.
